I am trying to use the "Applied Micro Circuits Corp pci drivers from DriverAgent.com" drivers for the SiS5596a AMCC Matchmaker PCI controller because I am having lots of issues with that the driver by not being able to install on my pc and cause issues with my connection for Internet and USB devices.
The below is my favorite error that comes up:
"Steps to uninstall: 1. Please insert the driver disk that came with your product. 2. Run the setup program on the CD. 3. Click "Start" and then follow the on-screen instructions."
Could anyone please let me know how to install or uninstall the SiS5596a driver?

Is your product a laptop? Can you use the device without installing the driver?
If you can't, the only way you can get around this is to remove the chipset driver and then install the AMCC one. Make sure you have disabled any graphics drivers before you install the AMCC one.
Just be careful that you don't uninstall the chipset driver (cause you'll need it in case you want to get back to Windows)
for any period of time. See Bankruptcy Rule 1018(b).
